Infiniti Emerg-E Concept Car Unveiled At The Geneva Auto Show 2012:
Infiniti has made a disruptive change to the automobile world. The premium brand from Nissan unveiled a new concept car at the Geneva Motor Show 2012 and the reception has been extremely positive. Switzerland’s Geneva Motor Show focuses on new design concepts, is an industry favorite and the perfect venue for Infiniti to unveil its new concept car the Emerg-E.
The Emerg-E from has sleek lines that make the car look like a hybrid of a Porshe 911 and a G35 Coupe with a bit of Lamborghini touches. The new two seater may be produced soon and although it’s a concept car now, the intent was to make something practical that could be driven soon.
Emerg-E’s project lead designer, Bert Dehaes stated, “We wanted to explore the excitement and desirability of a true sport car,” ….“This is not a show car that goes wild—it’s important to be realistic and believable. It’s a car you’d design for yourself.”
Features of the new Emerge-E Concept Car from Infiniti:
- 2 201 hp electric motors
- powered by from a compact lithium-ion battery pack mounted behind the seats
- battery pack allows 30 miles of driving
- battery pack supported by Lotus-engineered 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder gasoline engine
- weighs 3,524-pound
- goes from 0-60 mph in four seconds
